21 Black Jack is a popular casino card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The goal of the game is to beat the dealer by getting a hand total that is closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand total without exceeding 21.
To start the game, each player is dealt two cards face up. The dealer is also dealt two cards, but one of the dealer’s cards is dealt face down. Players can then choose to hit (take another card), stand (keep their current hand total), double down (double their bet and take one more card), or split (if they have two cards of the same value, they can split them into two separate hands).
The dealer must hit on a hand total of 16 or less and stand on a hand total of 17 or more. If the dealer’s hand total exceeds 21, the dealer busts and all players who have not busted win.
If a player’s hand total exceeds 21, the player busts and loses their bet. If a player’s hand total is equal to the dealer’s hand total, the game is a push and the player’s bet is returned.
21 Black Jack is a game of skill and chance. Players can improve their chances of winning by learning the basic strategy for the game. Basic strategy tells players when to hit, stand, double down, or split based on their hand total and the dealer’s up card.
